Bhārat has always associated great importance with Knowledge. We have always been a knowledge centred civilization. We have the world’s largest body of knowledge/intellectual texts, despite all the destruction and burning of libraries by invaders. Our body of intellectual texts, in our intellectual tradition, which comes in 4 languages i.e. Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit and old Tamil, is larger than the intellectual texts in all the world’s languages combined.
