Face Off Between Indian Diaspora and Khalistan Supporters In Canada
Khalistan supporters held a demonstration outside the Indian consulate in Canada’s Toronto. About 250 pro-Khalistan individuals held the rally. Demonstrators disrespected the Indian flag during their protest. Members of the Indian diaspora held a counter-demonstration across the road. Indian community waved the Tricolour and raised slogans “Vande Mataram” and “Long Live India”. The pro-Khalistan group tried to breach barricade and storm the Indian contingent. However, the Canadian police pushed back and arrested two pro-Khalistan individuals.
