Members of the Indian diaspora in the San Francisco Bay area are making their voices heard in a protest against the BBC documentary series “India: The Modi Question.”
Approximately 50 individuals, under the banner of “Indian Diaspora,” marched through the streets of Fremont, chanting slogans and rejecting what they view as the BBC’s “sinister and biased” coverage of India.
The protesters could be heard shouting “Biased BBC” and “Racist BBC”. This demonstration is a reflection of the growing frustration among members of the Indian community with what they see as a negative and unfair representation of their country.
