Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is in America on a six-day trip during which he is interacting with the Indian diaspora, business leaders and others. This is his first overseas trip post the Karnataka elections. The visit is being watched closely because of the message Rahul gives abroad about the country and its leadership as well as his outreach to the NRI community that has been aggressively wooed by the BJP. After an address in San Francisco, Rahul Gandhi has programmes lined up in Washington DC and New York as well.
