Tritiyo Mattra, Channel i : Interview (Martyred Intellectual Day, 14 Dec 2012)

Roquaiya Hasina Neely has taled about her martyred intellectual father S M A Rashidul Hasan. He was a teacher in the dept. of English at Dhaka University. He wrote students’ movements and struggle of people of this wing of the then Pakistan ( now, Bangladesh) in his diaries. He wrote every day. He was a very disciplined person, he loved Bengali people and its culture. He was fond of Tagore songs.It was his dream that his daughter would one day be a Tagore singer.. He was her inspiration. She is an accomplished presenter of the songs of Rabindranath. Neely is well known for presenting Tagore songs in its pure form.
