Indian Diaspora is smaller in Ukraine compared to that of other countries. However, the members in Ukraine are socially and culturally active and have been contributing positively to the development of Ukraine.
Especially notable is that, many of them have chosen to stay back and be with Ukrainian in these trying times. Each of their life stories are worth listening, how they started, what hurdles they had to overcome, what were the sources of their strength and dreams? Listen to Presidential Award winning orthopedic surgeon Dr. Alok Bansal, who saves people from the most complicated health situations and the story of Ram Dange, who has excelled in agri products business and have given multiple humanitarian aid; And Nagender Parashar, Founder and CEO of a pioneer prosthetics company has offered prosthetics support to the wounded Ukrainians in this war, adults and children, women and men, military and civilians. Our friend Kuldeep Kumar, owner of New Bombay Palace, who offered food and humanitarian aid to thousands of people for months, could not attend due to power outage in Ukraine as a result of Russian missile strikes. Their dreams are the same as the dreams of Ukrainians, to see a free, peaceful country with happy people. The discussion brought forth their ideas for a better Ukraine, condemning Russian aggression. The discussion was held on July 20, 2024 13:00 h Kyiv time (15.30 h. Indian time). moderated by Dr. Mridula Ghosh.
