More than 1,000 Hindu faithful visit the Chilkur Balaji temple, dubbed the “visa temple” in Hyderabad, India, each day in the belief that doing so will improve their chances of getting their visa applications approved. Most are hoping to travel to the USA, which has seen its Indian diaspora grow rapidly in recent years.
